Today, like all other days when Competitions are conducted, is and will always be a historical events in the life of every students be it contestants or mere students of all contesting schools.
Yesterday saw to the fierce semi finals contest between all qualified Senior High Schools in the Central Region of Ghana. The schools that made it to the finals were Mfantsipim School, Adisadel College, Assin State College and University Practice Senior High School.
Today, they contested and history has been made. Mfantsipim School managed to take the championship plaque or cup for the first time.
Adisadel College gave Mfantsipim School a hard time but they managed to win it. Actually, four schools were contesting but the main game was between Mfantsipim School and Adisadel College as they were the main schools.
Central Region whether you like it or not is the hub of education in Ghana or African as a whole. I say this because not only do they possess the best Junior High Schools and Tertiary institutions but also the best Senior High Schools.
For this instance, our focus is on the single sexed Senior High Schools; Adisadel College, Mfantsipim School, St.Augustine College, Wesley Girls Senior High School, Holy Child School and Mfantsiman Girls Senior High School.
There has always been a educational 'struggle' between them. As to now, it is not established as to which school is the best. However when we use the National Science and Maths Quiz as a criteria for ranking them, the best school has always been between the all males Senior High Schools.
Congratulations to them.
