The Ghana Education Service is responsible for Providing and overseeing Basic Education, Senior High Education, Technical Education as well as Special Education. GES is also responsible of registering, supervising and inspecting private pre-tertiary educational institutions.
Ghana Education Service gave a week midterm break to all the Junior High School students and teachers in the country. They started the mid term break on March 15, 2021, and it will end on 19th March, 2021. This break came after GES directed all heads of Junior High Schools to give students, teachers a week break from academic work. The break is about to end, and Ghana Education Service has come out to release a statement to all the Junior High School teachers and students in the country.
