Countries With Highest Paid Teachers

There are many good earning jobs in the world. Yet when you make mention of teachers, it seems like most people associate what they earn as a nightmare meagre salary. 

Not withstanding , some countries have earned the reputation of paying a good salary to teachers.  

Below are five (5) of those countries.

1. SWITZERLAND

Average Salary – $110,000

Highest earning teachers who works in the Switzerland can expect to earn about 635,800 Ghanaian CEDI's annually. On the average teachers can earn 610,800 Ghana CEDI's.

2. LUXEMBOURG

Average Salary – $100,000

The average salary for experienced secondary/high school teacher is 635,517.94 Ghanaian CEDI's and some of the top most paid teacher make over 819,112.01 Ghanaian CEDI's. The starting salary for an elementary/primary school teacher is around 423,675.16 Ghanaian Cedis while a high/secondary school teacher is at 466,082.73 Ghanaian Cedis.

3.CANADA

Average Salary – $74,000

The average salary of a Canadian teacher is 427,720.00 Ghanaian Cedis annually. Some teachers however receives about 3,000 CEDI's less.

4.GERMANY

Average Salary – $70,000

German teachers with experience earn an average of 364,140.00 Ghanaian Cedis. The starting salaries range from €44,000 (310,773.95 Ghanaian Cedis) - €50,000 (353,172.16 Ghanaian Cedis ).

5. Austria

Approximately a teacher in Austria has an average salary of GHS 288,303.20 ($50,000) per year. An Austrian experienced working teacher can make an average income of GHS 316,843 (4500 Euros).
