See what Kofi Asare said about Nana Addo's statement on free tertiary.

Some days back, the President of Ghana made a statement saying that, " In Ghana now that we have widened public education in the secondary school level to all and sundry, we are trying to replicate it to the tertiary level. He made this statement at the Global Education Summit co-hosted by the president of Kenya and the UK Prime Minister.

But this did not go on well with Kofi Asare who is the Executive Director of Education Think Tank.

According to Mr. Kofi Asare, Ghanaians should ignore what the president has promise. And the people of Ghana should take it as just slip of the tongue. He also stated that, even 2021 academic year is about to end but the 'no guarantor policy' for tertiary students loan that the President promised has not yet been implemented.
