The Minister of Education, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, says the government is committed to constructing 35 Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Senior High Schools (SHS) and also Five(5) STEM universities across the country.
He made this huge promise at at the 11th Congregation at Knustford University College in Accra.
According to the minister, these are proposals which were made in the 2022 Budget.
The minister explained that, these five universities and 35 Senior High Schools will enhance the study of Science and Maths in Ghana.
Ghanaians have shown interest in this and have reacted massively to what the minister said.

It can be seen from the comments above that, most Ghanaians are really disappointed in this government. Even though these projects which will help the country but Ghanaians are quite not interested. They seem to not trust the government anymore.
Some are of the view that, why should the government waste resources to build universities when he can use that money to create jobs. They continued by saying that, the graduates from these universities will graduate and still not find jobs so there is no need for such universities.
Others are of the view that, this government is a very big liar and they only make promises which they can't keep.
