St. Augustine's College is one of the Senior High Schools who perform excellently academic wise. Their students are among the highest performing in the West African Examination Council (WAEC) exams. St. Augustine's College are two time winners of the National Science and Mathematics Quiz (NSMQ) .They won in 2007 and 2019.
It is therefore not surprising that 30 of their students had Grade A in their just ended West African Senior School Certificate Examination. It has been reported that Ghana produced 88% of the students who scored A in all of the subjects they registered for. In total 465, students from Ghana, Nigeria, Sierra Leone and Gambia excellently had all A's in the just ended WASSCE. Ghana performed creditably well by producing 411 8A's out of the 465.
They have in addition produced great personalities and alumni such as Paa Kwesi Nduom, Michael Essien, Sammy Awuku and many other more. Kudos to the diligent and hardworking teachers and authorities who contributed to this success.
