
The Member of Parliament (MP) for the Nhyiaeso constituency, Honorable Stephen Amoah said, Ghana is a developing country and the poor citizens are a lot that is why the Free Senior High School policy was introduced by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government.
According to Honorable Stephen Amoah, without the Free Senior High School policy, over one million Junior High School (JHS) graduates will not get access to education because most of them come from poor homes.
Honorable Stephen Amoah said because most of the students come from poor homes, there will be a high crime rate and the youths will become a burden to the country.
Honorable Stephen Amoah went ahead to say that, those calling upon the government to stop the Free Senior High School policy are the ones who can cater to their wards' education.
