In a video shared by Star Fm, a lady was interviewed in the studios of the radio station about how she combines being a student and being a bus conductor at the same time.
Narrating her story, the lady by name Joseline Akofa said that she once sacrificed her rent for schools fees due to hardship in the family. According to her, she became a trotro mate after she met a driver at the market who she helped. The lady in return also took to herself and became the mate for the driver. According to the lady, the driver's mate wasn't around at that time so the lady insisted to help the driver to get customers on that same day.
She added that she gets enough money from the trotro business to settle her fees, feed her children and also her mother. She said the father of her kids threw her away some time ago.
She is a final year student at the University Of Ghana and at the same time a trotro mate. A lot of people called in during the program wanting to help her. Joseline has been an inspiration to many after the program.
