The residents of Nkwanta north have gone wild and desperate for water about some weeks now. This is a major problem hindering them for decades ago as the water supply in the area is flexible.
Water shortage has been a major problem in some part of the country. Water plays several roles in our daily activities as we can't survive a single day without drinking water. It also plays a major role in our health and economy as well. The electricity power supply mainly depends on water to give us light.
However, water challenges at Nkwanta north communities has affected lives and education in general. Every blessed day the students at Nkwanta north have to travel more than fifteen miles before they could get water.
According to a reporter from the town speaking to united television, due to how they roam before they could get water, their lesson schedules have change which is affecting their academic performance. Pregnant and lactations mothers have also migrated from the communities in order to get water for their newly born babies. The inhabitants of the area is pleading with the government to come to their aid. They plead the government to drill more boreholes and provides enough poly tank for them.
