The early evening of today had students of Universities hearing a piece of shocking news. Indeed, as you may probably know, University Teachers Association, Ghana (UTAG) went on strike for financial reasons. As we know in Ghana, students use this opportunity to have some time for themselves and chill.
So, having heard this news comes to them as a trauma. In fact, the sad part of the matter is, they are to sit for their final exams in their second semester. This is a very imperative part of their educational system as they prepare to transition to the next level of the educational ladder.
This has made students react to the news. They have shared their displeasure and unpreparedness. All this while, they thought they are not going to class any moment from now. But things didn’t go their way and today, they’re sharing the possible sad moment they might face by these sudden exams. Even if you’ve learnt the entire book, this short break will definitely have a negative effect on you- unless of course, you stuck religiously to your books during those break periods.
