Report has it that, the final year Junior High School students were asked to work on their teacher's farm and coming back from the farm they unfortunately met the untimely death.
It is also reported that, 30 final year students were involved in this catastrophe however only 10 of them unfortunately could not survive and met their sudden demise.
Report has it that the teacher who asked the candidates to work on his farm helped the police in the rescue mission and assisting the police with investigation.
The bodies of the deceased had been sent to the Police Station and deposited in the morgue. The twenty other students who managed to swim to safety are said to be doing well.
Meanwhile, the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) take off Monday, 15 November, 2021 nation wide.
