A co-host of the morning show on Joy FM, Kojo Yankson, has descended heavily and angrily on the ruling government and politicians at large. This followed after he heard the news that students of nursing and colleges of Education have not been fed as promised.
"So these politicians, is this how they run their family? Is this the kind of decision-making that they do at home? Do they live beyond their means? Do they promise their children and fail to deliver the promise to their children while they continue to live largely?
Because this is what is happening in the country. You promised to feed the nurses and teacher trainees whiles you train them. For half a year, you have not fed them. But you eat every day, you get free fuel, and you sit in your V8 and do other things freely. Whiles the people you promised that they vote you in to enjoy are suffering", he ranted.
