This is amazing, the illiterate or the uneducated grown ups, who might have missed their chances of receiving education at their youthful age, are now making efforts to get the best education as possible.
A 40-year-old driver is among candidates writing the ongoing Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) in Nkoranza South District of the Bono East Region.
The candidate Konadu Sampson, an official driver for Nkoranzaman Youth Association told the local media that he decided to register for the BECE examination at Future Leaders International School to enable him to take advantage of the Free Senior High School Policy to educate himself.
In recent news, one 60 Year Old lady identified as Elizabeth Yamoah also joins the 2020 BECE candidates to write the exams. Madam Elizabeth Yamoah becomes the oldest candidate and attends Agona Odoben Presby Junior High School. she is reported to have partake in the written papers.
They have decided to join the BECE candidates to write the ongoing Exams, in order to also enjoy free SHS. To them, if they didn’t had that chance before, they will not miss it now, especially when its free. Thanks to His Excellency the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufu-Addo for making Senior High Schools(SHS) for all.
Indeed education has no limits, which is why the school dropouts must make it a “necessity “ to continue with their education when they get the chance like these grown ups.
