How to calculate wassce grade

The WASSCE results are calculated by summing the 6 best subjects from your results. These include the four core subjects (Mathematics, English, Integrated Science, and Social Studies) with Math's and English being a must subject among the core subjects.

Depending on the program you want to read at the University, you may add either Social Studies or Integrated Science to the English and Mathematics for the calculation.

If you are a General Arts, Business or Home Economics Student, you may use the Social Studies and if you are a General Science or Agricultural Science Student, you may use the Integrated Science.

You can use our guide here to check your waec results after getting this understanding.

The above represents the effective way to calculate your WASSCE Results. The interpretation is what WAEC has been using as its WASSCE Grading system.
