The School of Leadership of the Ghana National Council of Private Schools (GNACOPS) has opened admission into the second session of the pre-tertiary education leadership programme scheduled to end on Tuesday, October 15, 2021.
According to GNACOPS , this Leadership course is aimed at preparing and training school owners and administrators to become professionals and adopt productive ways to run and manage all areas of affairs for their respective private schools.
“The education leadership programme will help also help school owners to focus holistically on child character development, education promotion and the understanding of the operation of private education,” GNACOPS stated in a post released on their official website.
The program, the Executive Director of the Private Schools Council, Mr Enoch Gyetuah said is intended to restore and bring the private sector education to the light for public recognition and seek quality-assured education delivery.
The course targets:
A) school owners B)managers/administrators
C) potential school owner
The Course covers:
Education Governance, Financial Management, School Management and Curriculum Development
CATEGORY 1 (Member Applicant)
-Tuition Fees: Ghc 600.00
Total Ghc: 700.00
Above 50% Paymentbefore applicant is admitted.
Tuition Fees: Ghc 700.00
Total Ghc: 1000.00
Above 50% Payment before an applicant is admitted.
Six weeks Duration
Face to Face for 6 six Saturdays from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
6 Tuesdays, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm
6 Thursdays, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm
The program above are efforts made by GNACOPS to help in Private school development in Ghana. After the covid -19 a lot of negative impact was felt on private schools. This will equip leaders to be manage schools well.
