I believe each and every Ghanaian by now has heard of the court case between a Rastafarian boy called Tyrone Marghuy and Achimota Senior High School.

To give a short recap of the story , Tyrone Marghuy was placed at Achimota Senior High School by the school placement system after haven successfully passed the Basic Education Certificate Exam (B.E.C.E) with flying colors and apparently Achimota SHS made it clear that they will only admit Tyrone only when he cuts his hair.
Tyrone and his parents sent the case to court and a Human Rights Court presided over by Justice Gifty Adjei Addo ruled in favor of Tyrone and in it's ruling compelled Achimota SHS to admit him.
Latest developments popping up indicates that Tyrone sat for exam hours after admission.
According to the father of Tyrone , Mr. Teroe Marghuy on Friday 4th June when his son was admitted , he asked if his son could take the exam and his request for his son to attempt the exam was granted by the director of studies.
