There is another good news flying around the country at this moment as the Ghana Education Service (GES) announces the suspension of double track system for SHS one (1). This particular issue of double track system has been a big debate among a lot of Ghanaians and they have severally condemned the double track system in different school buildings in the country.
However, it was announced today by the Director General of the Ghana Education Service, Prof Kwasi Amankwah while he was speaking to JoyNews correspondent during an interview. According to his revelation, he made it known that there enough and sufficient infrastructure to contain/accommodate the students.
Despite the massive criticism to completely end the double track system in our schools, the Ghana Education Service (GES) was only able to start with the Senior Secondary School year one students. And he further added that this effort was also carried out in order to effectively curb the spread of the deadly coronavirus among the students.
There is no doubt about that this latest development and good news will further help Ghana’s educational system, because there has been several negative comment about the double track. We are sure this will really go a long way in helping the students to learn in a more better school environment.
