Robofest is an annual robotic festival and competition designed to promote and support Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). The 2020 Robofest World Championship was held virtually due to COVID-19 pandemic. Prempeh College qualified for the world championship after dominating the regional and national championship held earlier in the year.
A total of six teams represented Ghana this year namely MomaGolf from Mount Olivet Methodist Academy, EddyGolf, MikoGolf and AgyenoGolf from Prempeh College and private groups; CMOS and PSIBOT. CMOS and MomaGolf represented Ghana at the junior GolfBowl game while all Prempeh College teams took part in the senior game.
The 2020 Robofest World Championship was a competition between different countries around the world, these countries include; China, Brazil, Canada, England, France, South Africa, USA, South Korea, Mexico and many more. At the end of the competition, the MikoGolf emerged champions of the competition after impressively scoring 103 points. Congratulations to Prempeh College for winning the 2020 Robofest World Championship.
