Ghana Education Service is the full meaning of GES. Ghana Education Service is responsible for the recruitment of university and college teachers into the public schools. The Ghana Education Service recruited 2019 training college graduated teachers last year and they also recruited over 6,000 university graduates in January this year. Also financial clearance was given to 2017 and 2018 backlogs. But some of the 2017 and 2018 college graduates have not been posted yet.
Director-General of GES has given a notice about the 2017 and 2018 backlogs.
According to the Director-General of the Ghana Education Service (GES), Professor Kwasi-Opoku Amankwa, measures are being put in place to post all qualified trained teachers recruited last year but were not posted to places where services are needed.
The Director-General of Ghana Education Service also stated that, the majority of Diploma teachers recruited were posted last year. And he added that some of the Diploma graduates were left out. So the Ghana Education Service is working tirelessly to ensure the few unposted trained teachers are posted. Please share like and comment on this article.
