There are several public universities in Ghana which offer varieties of degree and postgraduate programmes at all levels. There are currently over seven public universities in Ghana. Each of these universities do have a unique symbol of identification. This is usually known as a crest or a logo.
There is one public university in Ghana that has no logo. It is a new university formed out of the University of Education, Winneba. This new university has been existence for two years since it got its new name. However the school has no crest or logo.
However, there are several proposed logos from the university students to management but management seems to show no interest in them.
The school is now autonomous and is fully managed by the school authorities and not the management of UEW.
As at now, the school has no crest or logo. There hasn't been any graduation in the name of the school.
According to authorities, they will announce and show the university's logo as and when it is ready and approved.
