WAEC Threatens Legal Action Against Africa Education Watch Over Allegations Of Leaked Papers

The West Africa Examinations Council (WAEC) is threatening legal action against the Africa Education Watch over allegations that, some exams papers were leaked in the ongoing WASSCE examinations.

According to WAEC, no paper has leaked and the information put out by the Africa Education Watch is misleading and not accurate.

The Examination body is therefore threatening to drag Africa Education Watch to Court for their unfounded allegations which can tarnish the image of the Council and create anxiety among candidates writing the exams.

The Africa Education Watch posted on social media claiming that, paper for the food and nutrition paper was leaked and it was being seen by candidates before it was written.

Executive Director of the Africa Education Watch, Kofi Asare insisted that, his outfit still stands by their claims as it has evidence to support the claims.

In recent years, WAEC has been hit by allegations of leakages during final exams.

Meanwhile, WAEC has Cautioned candidates not to believe information from various whstsapp groups that try to deceive them of some questions.
