The amazing and interesting National Mathematics And Science Quiz has ended and it was indeed an interesting one. A final that saw a school like KETASCO doing their best but Prempeh College torturing Presbyterian Boys to take home the title. It was an amazing competition that has finally broken the eight year old curse of no female making it into the finals. Francisca Lamini, the female competitor that represented the Keta school is the first female to male it into the final after eight good years. Highly praised and recommended for her performance, she was awarded the best female performance award for the year.
A trip to Dubai and some other goodies were set on her table after making her school proud. Even though some argued that she was part of a team and that the whole team should receive the treatment that was given to her, some also accepted the way the awards went claiming it will motivate girls to study hard instead of messing around in school. For me, I think she deserved the award but if there is a special treatment to be given, it should be given to all three students who represented the school. This is because without the other representatives, she could not have made it that far.
Well, it has all been decided and that means she gets a trip to Dubai and her colleagues get to chill here in Ghana with us, that is what some had to say on social media. With all this ongoing, school still continues and some students are making a good memory of their time in school. Check out these photos of some beautiful senior high school girls slaying in their uniforms that will make you miss school.
