Dr. Kobby Mensah, a senior lecturer, consultant and software developer, has advised Senior High School (SHS) graduates without parental support to get a job and further their education through distance program.
Usually, some graduates do not get the chance to the university due to lack of funds from parents or sponsors.
They may have good grades and the desire to further their education but ends up being in the house.
However, Dr. Kobby Mensah says they shouldn't wait as they can find any job (filling station, waiter, barman etc) and apply for University of Ghana, Legon distance program whilst working and get a degree.
Dr. Kobby Mensah writes;
"If you have finished high school and you don’t have parental support, try and get any job - filling station, waiter, barman etc etc and apply to University of Ghana Distance programme so you can work full time whilst you get yourself a degree 🧐 Don’t wait!".
