Emma (Maa) Adwoa, 69, was pronouncing the English name of her eldest daughter, Elaina in a school's PTA meetings when she mispronounced it; Emma, making it a nickname for her afterwards. Elaina, the 40-year-old daughter of Adwoa Ofori, forced the Emma on their mother ever since their childhood days and it was with that name, the children, Elaina and her siblings, used in customizing a 2020 model of the Toyota Fortuner for her.
Elaina in surprising her mother with the customized car thanked her for being the outstanding woman towards their various careers today. Without you, we would have been school dropouts on the streets with nothing to hold on to but with you, we have been blessed with everything we would dream of having in our childhood days.
I saw you struggle for our education from no school fees to killing yourself with all kinds of informal jobs just to raise our fees for us to have a better future, Elaina, 40, said to her 69-year-old mother on her birthday. Elaina, together with her twin siblings (male and female), surprised their mother on her 69th birthday when the woman had no intention of requesting for a car.
Elijah and Eliyah, the twin siblings of Elaina, all in the UK, did not stop the praise on their mother on how she went from being a widow to selling all different kinds of items just to make sure their education was well-taken care off. Adwoa Ofori, the wife of the late Educationalist, Samuel Ofori did not just celebrate her birthday in style, but was given a car customised with her name on all the seats, Elaina hinted.
Though Maame Adwoa Ofori has not sat in the driver seat of a car before, but her children; Elaina, Elijah and Eliyah hopes she will do with her new car as plans for her to get her own license is on the way. Temporary, she has been given a driver but with time, she will be on the driver's seat herself driving without any driver, Elaina Ofori, the 40-year-old daughter of Maame Adwoa Ofori stated.
