This female graduate or an alumna of this great institution, Ashesi University has gone against all odds to create backpack or bag that absorbs power and later on produces light the power absorbed.
The Ashesi University alumna who is called Samuelle Asante is just 21 years old but the amount of creativity and intelligence she carries in her head supersedes that of even a 50 years old person.
With the information given and provided on the Ashesi University Facebook platform, the 21-year-old Samuelle Asante has developed a backpack called Kaniya Kotoku, it absorbs power during the day and can provide up to 6 hours of light for children studying at night.
According to Ashesi University, Samuelle Asante Startup that is called Kaniya Energy and is currently developing an alternative energy solutions for households with low or inconsistent energy supply.
Samuelle Asante's startup has recently won the association of Ghana industries' sustainable energy business competition. And that gave her the opportunity to win a prize package that included $7000 to invest in her startup or business.

This is for a fact something to be celebrated. Ghanaians who come across this achievement of 21 year old young lady should give her all the praise she deserves.
We do not normally hear or see these things or accomplishment in our societies. What we hear is when people get employed to work for others. For a graduate to do something for herself shows how hard working she is and the kind of things she is destined to achieve as her business grows.
