Ghana, there are some schools that are classified as Category A. Past performance in the West African Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (WASSCE) and the National Science and Mathematics Quiz (NSMQ), as well as the presence of facilities and infrastructure, all contribute to this classification into the various categories; A, B and C.
However, some of the schools in Category A do not meet the minimum requirements.
