"Complete The E-book Yourself If You Don't Like The Delay" President Akufo Addo To Aflao Chief

Torgbui Adzonu-Gaga Amenya Fiti V gave the government a four-month deadline to operationalize the abandoned project on Wednesday, October 20. The school, which was built during the Mahama government, is nearly completed.

The school features 26 classrooms and five departments, including a science block, but construction has been on hold since 2016.

Speaking at peace fm kokrokoo show today, He said If the Paramount Chief of the Aflao Traditional Region is irritated by the delay, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has ordered him to "finish" the abandoned E-block community day senior high school in the area himself.

"Is he going to give the Minister of Education an ultimatum?" Nana Addo wondered on Accra-based radio station Peace FM on Thursday.

After asking the sarcastic question, the President told the chief that if he was dissatisfied by the delay, he should go ahead and finish the project.

Following his punches at the traditional ruler, President Akufo-Addo stated that his government has decided to carry on with initiatives that his predecessor had started.

He emphasized that preparations had been put in place to finish the projects and put them to good use.

“We will surely prepare ourselves and execute some of the projects,” he continued, “but, as much as possible, I have given you these examples so you can see that, despite the propaganda, [we are working on them].”
