The star child is from Anyimon, Berekum in the Brong-Ahafo Region but she grew up at Prempeh College, Kumasi with her family where her father works as a senior school mathematics and physics teacher. It's known her father took her through all academic lesson before she sat for her wassce at a very young age.
Ruth Ama Gyan-Darkwa became the youngest student to be admitted to the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi in 2017 after completing secondary school.
Ruth is now 17 years old and has completed KNUST after reading Mathematics.
