Former Central Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress, Allotey Jacobs joined Osei Bonsu on the Ekosiisen show, Asempa FM. He raised an issue about the #fix the country demonstration. Allotey Jacobs boldly declared that the #fix the country demonstration was for fun. This statement from him raised an alarm in the studio as the host reacted by asking him to explain that "serious" statement.
He went ahead to share that some of the organizers were his friend. He also shared that he has been an organizer of demonstrations from 1969 till date and with that, the numbers that came for the demo was not encouraging. He stated however that it was better than that of the National Democratic Congress.
He cited Okatakyie Afrifa as one of his sons. He said when he saw Afrifa during the demo, he remembered his childhood days when he together with his friends, embarked on demo when they were given small food. He described Okatakyie's behaviour as "childhood".
"Childhood behavior and character", Allotey Jacobs.
