The University Teachers Association of Ghana has declared that their lecturers will not be returning back to the classroom today, Monday, February 21,202.
Speaking on the United Television on Friday 19th February 2022,professor Ransford Gyampo, General Secretary for UTAG said there will be no teaching on Monday on any university campus in the county.
He said that the Association will meet to evaluate a request from the education committee of parliament to call off the strike and come back to the negotiation table. 
Although the court did not rule in favor of the UTAG, but the association has declared that they will not go according to the court's ruling yet and their decision whether to call off the strike or not will be revealed on Wednesday, 23rd February, 20222 after the association heads meet.
Their decision will be made known to the whole public after the meeting.
