Good News For All University Of Ghana Students
The University of Ghana, which is one of the highly prioritized tertiary institutions in the country, has opened the application process for students of the university, who would like to opt for the application of the student loan facility for the 2020/2021 academic year.
The opening of the application process was made public by the current Student Representative Council of the university.
In a statement endorsed by the Public Relations Officer of the university's Student Representative Council, Mr Aikins Opoku, it was indicated that all prospective applicants who would like to apply for the loan facility provided, are expected to visit the website of the Student Loan Trust Fund on www.sltf.gov.gh.
The statement signed by the University's SRC also indicated no guarantor is required in the online application of the loan facility.
The statement also indicated applicants only need the Ghana Card or an E-zwich card to apply for the loan facility.
According to the statement, during the selection of the institution in the account-creation process, applicants should either choose University of Ghana or UG, DI, Legon, and not City Campus.
The current initiative by the University's Student Representative Council has emerged as a big relief to brilliant but needy students, and also some students who might be struggling with financial issues at this point in time.
