Free SHS to be made a perpetual element in Ghana's instructive framework – Nana Addo

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has expressed that his administration's lead Free Senior High School (SHS) strategy will turn into a perpetual component in the country's instructive set-up. 

The president says government will keep on putting vigorously in the strategy to offer each youngster a chance to secure optional training. 

He said interests in Free SHS have been beneficial, and they will proceed with it. Him and his government will make it a perpetual element of their instructive framework to make it workable for each youngster who needs to study and develop to have the option to do as such.

The President was talking at a gathering with understudies and guardians of the best eight alumni of the 2020 West African Senior High School Examination (WASSCE) at the Jubilee House last Friday. 

The eight understudies are among 411 Ghanaians who acquired 8As in the 2020 WASSCE, composed by the primary group of Free SHS understudies. 

The 411 understudies are important for the 465 understudies who scored 8As in the tests across the West African Examination Council (WAEC) part nations. 

What's more, the 2020 Free SHS clump are supposed to be record-holders for being the lone year gathering to have gotten a 50 percent pass rate [Grade A1-C6] in all the four center subjects – English Language, Mathematics, Integrated Science, and Social Studies.
