The finals of the National Science and Mathematics Quiz will be held this Friday. Many Ghanaians have predicted the school that will win. Aside supporters of the three Senior High Schools that have made it to the finals, many Ghanaians have expressed optimism that Keta Senior High School will win the quiz.
As expected, the contestants shared in the same hopes of Ghanaians. Giffah Alexander, a member of the Ketasco NSMQ team, explained that they are not frightened of the upcoming contest. According to him, the year batches that won for six times and four times for PRESEC and Prempeh College are not the same people they are going to contest with. This alone, gave him hope that they will win. He added that the contestants from Keta Senior High School learn the same textbooks that Presbyterian Boys Senior High School and Prempeh College learn. Thus, they have equal chances as them.
Bright Gadzo explained that although they had made it to the final, they did not travel all the way to Kumasi just to be in the finals. Rather, they travelled to take the trophy home.
