The short code for receiving and collecting the one teacher one laptop project has been made available on the various networks in Ghana. Teachers who are subscribers to networks like MTN, Vodafone, Airtel Tigo can dial the given code below and follow the instructions to collect their laptop.
The “One Teacher, One Laptop” project was officially launched by the Ghana Education Service (GES), Ministry of Education in collaboration with the three teacher unions. The Service has revealed that the laptops are to supplement traditional classroom teaching with digital teaching.
Moreover, the laptops are locally assembled and as results are environmentally friendly. The laptops will be distributed to teachers in the coming weeks when one registers for them.

During the Launching, the Ghana Education Service clarified that all teachers from KG to SHS will receive one laptop each. This will enhance their delivery of quality education to the Ghanaian child. The circulation limiting the distribution to SHS teachers has been cleared.
Present at the Launching was the vice president for the republic of Ghana, His Excellency Bawumia and Mr. Anthony Boateng the Deputy Director general in terms of management Services. The various presidents for the three teacher unions; Angel Carbonu for GNAGRAT, Mad. Philippa Larson for GNAT and King Ali Audu for CCT were all present at the launching today.
