GNAT Launches Ghana Teachers TV

Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) has lunch a YouTube channel, Ghana Teachers Tv, the channel is to give updates to teachers on issues bothering the teachers in the country. GNAT has caution teachers to take note of their social media platforms to avoid following social media platforms that publish fake news about teachers. Some individuals have created fake social media accounts with the name of the Ghana National Association of Teachers to circulate false news.

GNAT has sent messages to teachers to notify them on its verified social media accounts, teachers are to visit GNAT website, Facebook, Ghana National Association of Teachers -GNAT, Twitter: GNAT Official, Instagram: GNAT HQ, and YouTube Channel: ghanateachers tv for more information and updates.

Activities and projects embarked by the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) will be uploaded on the social media platforms to updates members. 

Teachers are to check on the the verified social media accounts of GNAT to authenticate information put up by bloggers on their sites, if the information is not available on the GNAT social media platforms, teachers can contact their zonal, district, and regional representatives for confirmation. 

GNAT has caution teachers to be circumspect in dealing with third-party loan officials, loan fraudsters have targeted teachers and they sent unsolicited messages to teachers, some of them present a low interest rate loan for teachers, these fraudsters later use the documents submitted to them by their victims to secure loans. Some teachers have complained about strange deductions on their payslips. Teachers who give out their electronic payroll staff Identification number and password to cafe attendants to print out their payslips are to desist from doing so, if any teacher sense his or her password has been exposed, they should change their password for security reasons. 

Ghana National Association of Teachers will select teachers from various schools to teach on the YouTube channel, Ghana Teachers Tv, Students in the double track schools who have access to internet will be able to learn on the YouTube channel. Periodic in-Service training will be uploaded on Ghana Teachers Tv for teachers to have access, Government has installed free Wi-Fi in the Senior High Schools, Teachers are to use the opportunity given to them to enhance their pedagogical skills. The provision of laptops by the government will help teachers to come on board on GNAT social media platforms. The YouTube channel for the Ghana National Association of Teachers is free, all teachers are advised to subscribe.
