Since the curtain of National Science and Maths Quiz was drawn down, many have been discussing about it due to the popularity it has gained. The three schools that contested in the finals have received massive hype throughout the week but Keta Senior High Technical School is exceptional. They couldn't win the competition but it is the school that has been talked about a lot. Simply because of one young lady with the name Francisca Lamini. Her style of answering questions and how she helped the school reached finals was amazing.
She clearly indicated how she was willing to take the school to finals and win the trophy. The ultimate prize couldn't go for them but she has received many scholarships and awards which has exposed her to the general public because of her gender and how forceful she was. Aside Francisca Lamini, other contestants have also been recognised and received awards also.
Shortly after the quiz, her private WASSCE results surfaced online and she performed massively well. This made many showered praises on her which caused stir on social media. This then caught the attention of some social media users and were of the view that, Francisca has actually done well but she couldn't have done it alone without her school teachers. They linked it to the fact that if it was something bad through a hand of a teacher, they would have said it everyday so now that it is something good to write home about, they should at least praise the teachers as well. They believe all the praises are channeled to Francisca alone without appreciating the teachers who one way or the other imparted knowledge to her.
