The West African Examination Council has quickly reacted to a document circulating on social media platforms about the release of the provisional results of the just ended 2021 West Africa Senior School Certificate Examination. The examination body has come under a lot of criticisms in various angles but has taken steps to clean up its name from all the allegations.
Earlier this morning, a document which purports to be from the auspices of the the examination body alleged that the results of the 2021 WASSCE has been released, detailing the statistics of the various candidates who passed and those failed, as well as malpractices and penalties. WAEC has, this evening quickly placed a notice on its social media platform and branded that document as a fake.
This means that all WASSCE candidates who sat for this year's exam should disregard the falsehood being peddled in the name of WAEC. At the appropriate time, the right information will be communicated to everyone.
Please find the document as posted on WAEC facebook page this Thursday evening 18th November 2021 below
