Ghana Education Service and the Ministry of Education has released the 2020 BECE placement. And the candidates are very happy. But some are of the candidates are not happy. Those who are happy are happy because they got the schools that they want. Some of the students who are not happy did not get the schools that they want. Because of this parents and candidates in the country want to change the schools that they got.
According to the data of Ghana Education Service there are over 100,000 students that are going to do self-placement and there are over 300,000 candidates who got auto placement. But the candidates who do not like their auto placement school want to change their SHS placement. And Candidates and their parents want to pay money to contractors to change it for them.
Due to this, the Executive Director of Africa Education Watch has given a notice to all 2020 BECE candidates.
According to the Executive Director of Africa Education, Mr. Kofi Asare, candidates are to welcome and accept any school they were automatically placed by CSSPS.
Mr. Kofi Asare, the Executive of Africa Education Watch also stated that, parents and candidates are to be wary of some individuals parading as school placement contractors promising to change automatic schools of candidates. He also added that those scammers parading as Senior High School placement contractors cannot change the school for any candidate. Because when once auto placed, no one can change it.
He concluded by saying that, the scammers are collecting GH¢ 2,000 so parents and candidates should not fall victim of these scammers. Please share, like and comment on this article.
