University Students should also receive allowances from government

Hello, thanks again for clicking on my article. Please share and also follow my channel.

Over 60% of all tertiary students are in the university. The rest can be found in various Teacher training Colleges, Nursing and Midwifery Training Institutions, Polytechnics, and other professional program colleges.

Now the amount of fees and other expenses incurred by all tertiary students are almost the same. Meanwhile students in the universities do not receive any allowance from the government while other tertiary institutions such as the nursing and teacher training institutions get allowances for their students.

The allowances provided must be for all and not for a particular group of people.

Students in various universities in Ghana, both public and private must receive a monthly allowance from the government.

GH¢500 from the government will be enough to help university students settle some debt and also support their fee payment. Most students go for loans to pay their fees, but the allowance can reduce the amount of money students normally borrow.

I hope this agenda is pushed forward for the benefit of all.
