Good news for all primary and JHS students as school set to resume

Schools are set to return next year after the president adjourned the 2019/2020 academic year.

The Deputy Minister of Education, Dr. Adutwum gave a brief overview of what the next academic year will be like after 9 months of illiteracy for high school students.

According to him, the schools will resume in January 2021 as the president said in his speech.

However, the next academic year will be a very busy one as there will be a reduction in the number of days the holiday season involves wasting time.

Also, all sports activities will still be included in the next academic year. GES is expected to release a comprehensive education plan for the new academic year before the end of the year.

Ghana's Education Service has officially re-opened the primary and secondary schools for the 2020 and 2021 academic years.

The Ghana Department of Education has also released the College of Higher Education Education Calendar for the 2021 academic year and reopened the day for both songs and high schools.
