The Parent teachers association, the Ghana National Association of Teachers, in recent times has been hit with a turn over of some internal issues to restructure the Association's mode of operations. In this, the association took steps some few weeks ago to rename the Teachers Provident Fund back to its original name, the GNAT Provident Fund and to name an interim board of trustees for the fund to oversee its activities until news board is elected.
Since then, various activities are being undertaken towards the said course of action. In a latest information, the association has sent a strong message to all members concerning a new development. In the text message which was disseminated this evening, Monday 21st June 2021, the association is creating the awareness of all members that an application has been filed at the Accra High Court this day same day for Interlocutory Injunction be placed against the Board of Trustees of the GNAT Provident Fund . According to the message, the injunction also places a restraining order as well against the Board from organizing any meetings which will include a meeting scheduled for Wednesday 23rd June 2021.
