Ghana Education Service has Shortlisted qualified teachers for the upcoming promotion exams, the successful candidates are required to provide documents for verifications to be allowed entry in the examination hall.
Management of Ghana Education Service is in preparation to conduct apptitude test for the selection of qualified teachers for promotion to upper ranks, Teachers in the Ghana Education Service qualified for promotion after five years in their current rank, teachers are due for promotion after serving on a rank for a minimum of five years, the promotion of teachers from lower rank to upper rank is based on apptitude test, the successful candidates in the Ghana Education Service promotion aptitude test are notified on the GES promotion portal.
Rank and salary scale are upgraded and adjusted automatically for successful teachers in the apptitude test, promotion letters are sent to the successful teachers as a document to proof their promotion from the lower rank to the upper rank in the service. Ghana Education Service invited qualified teachers who are due for promotion to apply for the promotion apptitude test for the selection of staff to be promoted. Qualified teachers applied for the promotion aptitude test on the Ghana Education Service promotion portal, applicants were requested to upload required documents and submit hard copies to their district education directorates for onward submission to the Ghana Education Service headquarters.
The documents have been vetted, thirty eight thousand teachers have been shortlisted to write the GES promotion aptitude test, shortlisted applicants have been notified with emails and SMS, venues for the examination and index numbers have been sent to the shortlisted teachers. The successful teachers have been advised to study and obey rules and regulations for the conduct of examination.
All teachers shortlisted to write the Ghana Education Service apptitude test for promotion will be required to provide their certificates, last promotion letters and National Identification card for verification.
