Gyakie saddened by her fame, says she can't do this again anymore

Being a celebrity comes with a lot of pros and cons and you would have to endure to enjoy the two. In Ghana, most celebrities are expected to lead a descent and disciplinary life. Some celebrities are like angels to the normal people and therefore people don't expect them to involve themselves in some aspects of life of a normal Ghanaian who is not a celebrity. Although celebrities have the money and the other things but they are prevented from doing some certain things due to their celebrity status.

An ordinary person can choose to buy food anywhere, mingle with anyone and do other ordinary things but a celebrity is bounded from doing all these aforesaid activities although there is no law banning them from doing so. But do you think been a celebrity can deter you from doing some certain things you used to do before you became famous? You must always watch your steps in public because the ordinary people can even put a camera on you when they spot you doing some ordinary things.

Folks are always interested in what is really happening in the life of a celebrity so that they will go all about to talk negative about that celebrity. Being a celebrity is not really something easy as we see although they enjoy some sort of respect in our community. This burden has bedevilled budding Afrobeats songstress, Jacqueline Acheampong who goes by the stage name Gyakie as she has noticed that she is saddened by her celebrity status.

Gyakie in an Entertainment interview disclosed that she is no more used to doing things during when she wasn't a celebrity because Ghanaians are always waiting to attack you on the slightest opportunity they get. Gyakie revealed that she can no longer buy gari and beans popularly known as 'gobe' in her area due to her celebrity status.

To her, she likes to buy that food but now she can't because people will be watching her join the queue of about 50 people which is not good for her as a celebrity. She further disclosed that she is sometimes worried about her celebrity status but she can't do anything meaningful about it.
