Rosemond Brown, better known as Akuapem Poloo, went viral after her case was reopened over photos she shared last year in which her young son was present. She was granted a bail of Ghc 80,000 yesterday, according to reports. Things seem to have changed today, as there are reports that she was marched to Nsawam prison this afternoon.
ASP stands for Active Server Pages. Despite her bail, Samuel Kofi Opoku of Onua FM said the actress was handed over to the women's authorities for female prisoners at Nsawam. He went on to say that there are still further steps that need to be taken in the event.
Since the beginning of all these issues, many people condemned her actions but today, they are the same people asking the court to temper justice with mercy and set the actress free. Honorable Kennedy added his voice to the issue saying the court should give her a year in prison to serve as a deterrent for others who are fond of misconducting themselves on social media.
