My biggest dream is to have Daddy Lumba on my song, says KiDi.

KiDi, the reigning VGMA Artiste of the Year, has an unreleased song that he describes as a work of art, but it will not be released until legendary musician Daddy Lumba agrees to feature on it.

I have a song that I've told my team will not be released until I have Daddy Lumba on it."

For his songwriting abilities and timeless hit songs, Daddy Lumba has earned the title of Ghana's greatest musician.

The revered musician has several albums and continues to inspire many people.

KiDi revealed in an interview with 3News that he grew up listening to Lumba albums, and that his father is a huge Lumba fan.

"Daddy Lumba was my father's favorite artist when I was growing up." Every morning, I would listen to his music. "I know a lot of his songs," he admitted.

KiDi claims that he has already agreed to collaborate with Daddy Lumba, but has yet to meet him in person.

"I was supposed to meet him at a National Theatre performance, but I had to leave earlier." I don't want our conversation to take place over the phone. I'd like to meet him and tell him, "Daddy, I want you on a song." "I'd like to meet the world's greatest musician."

Some old-school musicians have collaborated with the current crop of musicians in the industry.
