Kevin Taylor, a United States based Ghanaian has once again hit out at President Akufo-Addo. According to Kevin on ‘With All Due Respect’, the President sits aloof as Ghanaians suffer and die. Kevin condemned the Ejura killings, the President’s response and call for enquiry and also lambasted Shatta Wale for his comments regarding the Fix the country campaigners.
As Kevin was wrapping on his last show, he opened the lines for listeners to call in. One listener called Monica queried why people insult Kevin when he applauds Mahama. According to her Kevin Taylor had maintained that he doesn’t work because of John Mahama but rather he will praise anyone who does good for Ghana.
“Auntie Monica, let me interrupt, if even it is about John Mahama I am happy to sit here. Why shouldn’t I be proud. John Mahama has built hospitals saving Ghanaians. So if someone sits and concludes that I am speaking for Mahama, I don’t care. I am proud of that. I can tell you what John Mahama has done. Tell me what the other person has done. I don’t have time for this comedy. Yes, Kevin Taylor speaks for a better person who has knowledge and vision.
I speak for someone who used Ghana’s money for something good. I won’t speak for a liar. Tell me what Akufo-Addo has done. I can tell you 1000s of things Mahama has done” Kevin Taylor explained.
Many have alleged that Kevin Taylor is a paid journalist to speak for John Mahama and destroy the government. Others have alluded that Kevin only speaks the truth and doesn’t discriminate because there have been times he has criticized and lambasted Mahama and the NDC MPs
