Renowned Ghanaian actress, Rosemond Brown has been trending since Thursday following her naked photos brouhaha which has landed her in hot water. On the 30th of June 2020, Rosemond Brown popularly referred to as Akuapim Polo, uploaded a controversial picture on her instagram page to celebrate the birthday of her son, who had just turned seven. The young actress posed compeletly nude, alongside his son who was on a pant. The picture received massive condemnation upon circulation due to its obscene nature.
The Children Rights International Ghana found her demeanour against the laws of the country and arranged her for court hearing. On Friday afternoon at the Accra circuit court, the final pronouncements was made that she would be imprisoned for 90 days to serve as a deterrent for others.
Prior to the final hearing, Akuapim Polo was seen crying and rendering apologies for what she did in viral footage. After the verdict the she made another short video thanking everyone who supported her during the trial and called for her release. Moreover she didn't exclude her supposed fans in Nigeria, who she thanked for their support as well.
However, most Nigerians were unaware she had fans in their country, but upon hear the crime instigating her sentence, they met her video with some hilarious comments. Check them out
