Ernestina Agyemang popularly known by music lovers as Ateaa Tina was born to Mr Agyemang and Georgina Nduro in Accra, she is the youngest of six siblings, with four brothers and one sister.
She attended Amsterdam's Bijlmer Drie school before enrolling at Marcantie College in the Netherlands and graduated from Esprit Scholen Groep with a degree in Medical Assistant. She served as a Medical Assistant after graduation at a number of hospitals, including Academic Medical Center (Amsterdam).
In 2003, she released the album "Bubra" with Daddy Lumba, which featured hits such as "Pony," "Adaka Tea," and "Dada Kae." “Mema Ma Wotrim Ne,” “Bubra,” “Odo Bewu Dee,” “Ahenfo Kyiniye,” and “Give Peace a Chance” are the five albums on which she collaborated with Lumba.
Esther Amoako, a gospel singer, was the first well-known artist with whom she collaborated. She sang backup vocals on every song on the Metrimu Po Nye Bone album, which included hits like "He Can Do It".
Currently, she is married with children in Atlanta, Georgia, where she also owns a clothing label, DeeTee Style.
