I Was Trying To Fix My Eyelashes – NDC Panelist Explains Why She Was Late For Panel Discussion

Political discussions in Ghana normally empanel representatives from the 2 major parties in the country. It is no secret to see a New Patriotic Party and A National Democratic Congress representative on TV shows battling each other and propagating the values of their party. However, on Good Morning Ghana yesterday, Monday, October 4, 2021, the show started with the host, Annie Ampofo and Akosua Manu, an NPP communicator and the Deputy CEO of the National Youth Authority.

Akosua Manu is the wife to one of the sons of Peter Mac Manu, the NPP 2016 and 2020 campaign manager. However, there was no sight of Gabriella Tetteh, the NDC nominee for the show. Discussions proceeded and after more than an hour Gabriella Tetteh showed up. Annie Ampofo queried as to why she was late to the show.

She apologized for being late and confessed that she was attempting to fix eyelashes. “I was attempting to fix eyelashes. My niece has an eyelash brand and I promised her I will model her eyelash for her. What I forgot is to tell her to take me through practice so I could figure it within 3 seconds. 30 minutes and I was still on it. I am sorry about that” Gabriella Tetteh explained.

Apparently, the lateness got Akosua talking as she posted a smart tweet on her twitter handle. According to the Tweet, the Elephant is always on time. The tweet was simple but it indirectly threw salvos at the NDC panelist who apparently failed to get to the Metro Tv studios on time to kick start the programme
