Former Vodafone Ghana Music Awards' Artiste of the year Kuame Eugene has acknowledged on the greatest musicians in Ghana on BBC News.

The Angela hitmaker was interviewed about his life, his journey in the music industry, his love for Afrobeat and Highlife music and the likes.
Kuame Eugene on BBC World News was asked several questions but his response to one of them will got several talking.

Kuame Eugene was asked about maintaining and promoting Highlife Music. In response to that, He made mention of the likes of Amakye Dede, Daddy Lumba and Jojo Antwi for the great works they did to keep the music genre going. He also talked about Reggie Rockstone helping to promote it as well.

He said Reggie Rockstone is the Grand Papa in Ghanaian Highlife music and he has been holding up to highlife for a long time now. He said, we call him Grand Papa in highlife because he has held onto the genre for a very long time now.
Kuame Eugene also told the host or the interviewer that, Ghanaians love Afrobeat and listen to it but they are made of Highlife and Hiplife.
